The Story Behind Juvele

Inspired by a personal search for better skincare.

My name is Elke Houghton. I was born in Germany, grew up in Sweden, and today I live in Utah.

​

My journey with Juvele began when I started noticing changes in my own skin. Like so many women, I began looking for skincare that felt right for me. I tried products ranging from inexpensive to very expensive, but I was never completely satisfied.

​

So I became curious.

​

I began researching skincare ingredients and learning more about what I wanted in the products I used on my own skin. The more I learned, the more interested I became—and eventually, I created my own formula.

​

At first, it was simply something I had created for myself. Then my daughters and friends began using it too. They loved what I had made and encouraged me to share it with other women.

​

In 2015, Juvele was born.

​

What began as my own search for better skincare became something I could share with others.

​

Today, my wish for Juvele is still beautifully simple: to offer thoughtful skincare for mature skin and to help women care for the skin they're in and feel beautiful at every age.
